Changing the Game
We are a bunch of technology professionals who got fed up with background noise during important phone calls or teleconferences, and having to place the call on mute manually, and unmute it again when we had to speak, or even sometimes forget the call was on mute and having to repeat our inputs to rest of the audience again.
Whether you are a business executive speaking to a counterpart in a busy office, a customer speaking to a call center agent of your bank, a radio commander speaking to a soldier on the frontline or a team director speaking to his racing champion doing the fastest lap around the racetrack in a season deciding race, background noise has a negative impact on anyone using a communication device.
To fix this, we gave up our day jobs in November 2017 and were on a mission with only one vision – to change the game and create an intelligent solution that can deliver truly noise free voice transmission for wired or wireless communication devices.

SmartMute® Delivers Truly Noise Free Voice Transmission
The Human Brain is a highly sophisticated, complex machine. In a cocktail party or any other noisy environment for that matter, when there is a dialogue between two participants, the listener’s brain is capable of subconsciously supressing the surrounding noise and only focus on the target speaker’s voice, even though there is sound being received by the listener’s ears from all directions from within the environment.
The "Brains" at Smart Audio have managed to replicate this complex functionality of the Human Brain and created an intelligent, AI based engine that is capable of accepting voice inputs from target speaker and eliminating the rest when the target speaker is not speaking, without the need to manually placing the call on mute or unmuting it, and called this SmartMute® technology.
